A Long Way To Go

This is the title of our story this week. It's a longer story but very good. Please make sure to reread it at home so you can remember the details about it for the comprehension test on Friday.

Parents- students will be bringing home progress reports on Friday. I am starting a new trimester after these go out so be aware of new scores.

We have a guest author coming to our school on Thursday. Her name is Nancy Carlson and we made I am poems and self portraits to honor her. They will be posted in the gym but I wanted to show some of them on this blog.

Friday is picture retakes so make sure to practice that lovely smile on Thursday night!

I hope all of you had a great Thanksgiving today. I will see you all at 5am the next day, shopping. Also, enjoy this little break from school and then come back ready to push hard until winter break!

I kind of want to know who is reading this. Can you reply and say hi? Conferences are going great. I hope to see each student try harder academically and give your best effort. I love to see hard work pay off.

I really enjoy this class this year, but I will say they need to focus more and listen more. What do you think?

Class Discussion

This week we have a new story called "Class Discussion". I have 16 new conferences on Wednesday day and night. If you are one of those conferences please make sure that your child comes with you. They have something to present at the beginning. Also, if you cannot make it for some reason, please call and let the office know that you cannot make it and we can reschedule it.
