We are reading On Top of the World this week. It's a story about Mt. Everest and the first two climbers (Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay) to reach the top. How did they persevere? Why do people climb Mt. Everest? Would you ever try and climb Mt. Rainer? Let's hear from you!

Well, they wanted to accomplish something that no one has ever done and they showed perseverance by never giving up. and i don't really want to climb mt.rainier :-P
They showed perseverance by proving that climbing Mt. Everest could be done and that it's possible to do.
